A RESOLUTION

Remembering Lillie Victoria Taylor Dover; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Dover was affectionately known as "Lillie Vee"; and

WHEREAS, Lillie Vee was the youngest of seven children born to the late Ed Taylor and Lillie Mae Carter Taylor on June 9, 1948, in Leary, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Lillie Vee graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1965 and later received her licensed practical nursing degree from Albany Area Vocational Tech; and

WHEREAS, Lillie Vee dedicated herself until the day she died to caring for the sick at the Dougherty County Health Department; and

WHEREAS, Lillie Vee was a loving mother to Valeda LaShaé Dover, and she also leaves behind two sisters, three brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever miss her.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body remember the life of Lillian Victoria Taylor Dover.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Valeda LaShaé Dover.
