The
Senate State and Local Governmental Operations Committee offered the following
amendment:
Amend
HB 595 by striking all matter on lines 20 through 22 of page 2 and inserting in
place thereof the following:
(f)
The exemption granted by subsection (b) of this section shall apply only to
taxable years 2007 through 2011. Unless renewed or extended by subsequent Act
of the General Assembly, the exemption granted by subsection (b) of this section
shall not apply to taxable year 2012 or any subsequent taxable year.
