BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act reconstituting the Board of Education of Atkinson County, approved
April 5, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4771), as amended, so as to change the
compensation of the members of the board of education; to repeal conflicting
laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act reconstituting the Board of Education of Atkinson County, approved April 5,
1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4771), as amended, is amended by striking Section 6 of
said Act and inserting in lieu thereof a new Section 6 to read as follows:
"SECTION
6.
The
members of the board of education, including the chairperson, shall receive
$250.00 per meeting as compensation for their services, with total compensation
for any calendar month not to exceed $250.00 regardless of the number of
meetings held that calendar
month."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
