BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act incorporating the City of Centerville, approved March 25, 1958 (Ga.
L. 1958, p. 3323), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 25, 2002
(Ga. L. 2002, p. 4622), so as to change the corporate limits of said city; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act incorporating the City of Centerville, approved March 25, 1958 (Ga. L. 1958,
p. 3323), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 25, 2002 (Ga. L.
2002, p. 4622), is amended by inserting at the end of paragraph (2) the
following:
"Also included within the corporate limits of the City of Centerville are the following described properties:
"Also included within the corporate limits of the City of Centerville are the following described properties:
(1)
All that tract or parcel of land, known as, Houston Lake Road lying and being in
Land Lots 81, 82 and 101 of the Fifth Land District of Houston County, Georgia.
Said road right-of-way being 40 feet wide each side and parallel to the center
line of said road and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a
point where the center line of Houston Lake Road intersects with the city limits
at Dunbar Road; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Houston
Lake Road for approximately 1.03 miles to a point where the center line of
Houston Lake Road intersects with Wellston Circle; said point being the end of
this description of Houston Lake Road.
(2)
All that tract or parcel of land, known as, Dunbar Road lying and being in Land
Lots 100, 101, 108, 135, and 136 of the Fifth Land District of Houston County,
Georgia. Said road right-of-way being 40 feet wide each side and parallel to
the center line of said road and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Dunbar Road intersects with the
city limits at Houston Lake Road; thence in an easterly direction along the
center line of Dunbar Road for approximately 2.43 miles to a point where the
center line of Dunbar Road intersects with Heritage Road; said point being the
end of this description of Dunbar Road.
(3)
All that tract or parcel of land, known as, US Hwy 41/GA Hwy 11 lying and being
in Land Lots 81, 82, and 101 of the Fifth Land District of Houston County,
Georgia. Said road right-of-way being 40 feet wide each side and parallel to
the center line of said road and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the center line of US Hwy 41/GA Hwy 11 intersects the
city limits at Old Dunbar Road; thence in a northerly direction along the center
line of US Hwy 41/GA Hwy 11 for approximately 1.88 miles to GA Hwy 49; said
point being the end of this description of US Hwy 41/GA Hwy
11."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
