BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act to reconstitute the Board of Education of Catoosa County, approved
March 30, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4258), as amended, so as to
provide an increase in compensation for members of the board of education; to
provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act to reconstitute the Board of Education of Catoosa County, approved
March 30, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4258), as amended, is
amended by striking Section 6 and inserting in its place a new Section 6 to read
as follows:
"SECTION
6.
Members
of the Board of Education of Catoosa County shall be compensated in the amount
of $250.00 per month and shall be reimbursed for actual expenses necessarily
incurred for attending meetings in the performance of their official duties when
those meetings occur outside the Catoosa County School District. The meetings of
the board shall be conducted consistent with
Robert́s
Rules of
Order."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
