A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend an Act to create a board of elections and registration for Coffee County, approved May 6, 2005 (Ga. L. 2005, p. 3838), so as to provide for a limitation on the amount of absentee ballot applications that the board of elections and registration shall provide to persons; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act to create a board of elections and registration for Coffee County, approved May 6, 2005 (Ga. L. 2005, p. 3838), is amended by adding a new Section 11A to read as follows:

SECTION 11A.
(a) The board shall not issue applications for absentee ballots to persons in quantities in excess of five applications at a time.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, the board shall not issue applications for absentee ballots to persons who have been found guilty of any form of election fraud in any court, including administrative tribunals.
(c) Persons requesting applications for absentee ballots shall sign a log showing the quantities of applications such persons received. Such log shall be available for public inspection and copying during normal business hours of the board.

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
