BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Chapter 13 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to controlled substances, so as to change certain provisions relating to
Schedule I controlled substances; to change certain provisions relating to
Schedule IV controlled substances; to change certain provisions relating to the
definition of the term "dangerous drug"; to provide an effective date; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Chapter
13 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to controlled
substances, is amended in Code Section 16-13-25, relating to Schedule I
controlled substances, by striking subparagraphs (O), (Z), and (SS) of paragraph
(3) and inserting in their respective places the following:

Said

following:

Said
chapter is further amended in Code Section 16-13-71, relating to the definition

the following:

of dangerous drug, by inserting a new paragraph in subsection (c) to read as

6.
This
Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its
becoming law without such approval.
SECTION
7.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
