A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 16-11-130 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions from Code Section 16-11-126, relating to carrying a concealed weapon; Code Section 16-11-127, relating to carrying deadly weapons to or at public gatherings; Code Section 16-11-127.1, relating to carrying weapons within school safety zones, at school functions, or on school property; and 16-11-128, relating to carrying a pistol without a license, so as to provide that such Code sections shall not apply to the carrying of a handgun in a motor vehicle; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes
