A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 34-9-2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to applicability of chapter regarding workers' compensation to employers and employees generally, so as to provide an exclusion for employers whose employees are engaged in maritime employment as defined under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act or eligible for compensation thereunder; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
