Speaker's Intern Program

 

 

Intern Responsibilities

While being an intern for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, you will be responsible for supervising important projects here in the Capitol.  Some of these projects include Capitol Tours, the PAGE Program, and historical research.  Each of these projects play an important role in educating the citizens of the state of Georgia.

COMMUNICATIONS
Supervise live online feeding of the House of Representatives Committee meetings and other events.

CAPITOL TOURS
Give tours to visitors along with supervising fellow interns while they give tours.

PAGE PROGRAM
Be the contact person for scheduling pages and making sure they are doing their specified duties.

HISTORICAL RESEARCH
In charge of researching the historical background of the Capitol.  The information found will possibly be included in the Capitol Tours.

OTHER
Along with the above there will be other projects assigned by the Speaker.
