DAILY RADIO SCRIPT
Tuesday, January 24, 2006 Legislative Day # 7

In Committee, the House calendar yesterday included bills which made some fairly routine changes to guidelines governing the firemen’s pension. Also passed was a bill which makes uniform at 25 mile per hour the speed limit around schools.

Every day numbers of bills and resolutions are introduced in the House. Yesterday day was no exception. Here’s a look of just a sample of those that have been read on the House floor this week.

HB 1055 seeks to implement Internet safety policies in all public libraries and public school libraries. HB 1069 provides for the establishment of a youth driver tracking service.

And HB 1059, the sex offender bill, was also read into the record earlier this week.
