Speaker Richardson appoints State Representatives Mark Butler, Phyllis Miller, and Mark Hatfield to the Juvenile Law Commission |

Atlanta–Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Mark Butler (R-Carrollton), Phyllis Miller (R-Lawrenceville), and Mark Hatfield (R-Waycross) to the Juvenile Law Commission. The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, challenges, and opportunities relating to the safety and welfare of the public and Georgia´s children would be best served by a comprehensive, research based, best practices legal model that would simplify and govern juvenile practice and procedure. The committee was created by the passage of Senate Resolution 161, authored by Sen. Bill Hamrick. Rep. Butler will be serving the Commission as Co-Chair. ### |
