Speaker Richardson appoints State Representatives Jeff Lewis, Amos Amerson, and Barry Loudermilk to the Joint Emerging Technologies Study Committee

Atlanta–Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Jeff Lewis (R-White), Amos Amerson (R-Dahlonega), and Barry Loudermilk (R-Cassville) to the Joint Emerging Technologies Study Committee.

The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, challenges, and opportunities relating to investment in these emerging technologies should be encouraged and any disincentives to such investments resulting from unnecessary government regulation should be eliminated..

The committee was created by the passage of Senate Resolution 298, authored by Sen. Mitch Seabaugh. Rep. Jeff Lewis will be serving the committee as Co-Chair.
