With 12 years of prior legislative service under her belt, Representative JoAnn McClinton is still faithfully serving her constituents. She is currently serving as a member of several House Committees: Appropriations, Health and Human Services and Reapportionment. 

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Representative McClinton attended Spellman College before pursuing a career in business. She and her husband Emory have been blessed with three wonderful children and two grandchildren. The couple attends a local Catholic Church.
