82nd District (R- DeKalb)

Now serving his third term in the Georgia House of Representatives, Paul Jennings plans on continuing to fight for legislation needed by his constituents. His primary areas of concern include good neighborhood schools, healthcare, the environment, easing traffic congestion and reducing property taxes. Currently, he is serving on the following House Committees: Defense & Veteran Affairs, Economic Development & Tourism, Health & Human Services and Governmental Affairs, for which he serves as Vice-Chairman.

After working as a Senior Officer of Decatur Federal (Wachovia Bank, now) for 20 years, Representative Jennings is now retired. Paul and his wife Edna, a former elementary school teacher, have lived and participated in DeKalb County for 31 years and know it well. Their four adult children graduated from DeKalb public schools and Georgia, Vanderbilt, Alabama and Auburn, making interesting football seasons!! They delight in their four wonderful grandchildren.
