EXPERIENCE

Elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1982. He has served as State Representative in District 134 for the past 21 years. In District 134 he serves the people of Chattahoochee, Calhoun, Clay, Decatur, Miller, Quitman, Randolph and Stewart Counties.

He has taught in the Randolph-Clay School System for 32 years as a Teacher of Social Studies. Also, instructor of Political Science and Western Civilization for over 10 years at Andrew College.

He serves on the Oversight Committee for the Georgia State Fair in Perry, Georgia.

Worked with state of Alabama and Georgia's Department of Transportation for the Omaha Bridge over the Chattahoochee River in Stewart County.

Involved in the 4-lane funding of US Hwy. 27 that cuts across his six counties.

15 Cities: Arlington, Edison, Bluffton, Fort Gaines, Bainbridge, Blakely, Damascus, Jakin, Colquitt, Georgetown, Coleman, Cuthbert, Shellman, Lumpkin and Richland.
