Virgil Fludd has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, management, and consulting experience. He is currently President and CEO of the Carvir Group, Inc., a consulting firm that provides management search and executive recruiting services to clients across the country. The firm handles a range of recruiting assignments in the financial services, technology, and consumer products industries.

Previously, Virgil worked for Bank of America as a Vice President and Sales Manager where he was responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing programs in the Corporate Trust department. Virgil worked for Xerox Corporation for the first 10 years of his career. He held a variety of positions including field sales, product marketing, sales management, planning and executive assignments.

He is member of the Board of Trustees for the Clayton State University Foundation, the Board of Directors of the Jordan Foundation, the Board of Advisors for Christian City, the Board of Advisors for The Community Foundation for Fayette County, and a co-chair of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators Financial Literary Task Force. Mr. Fludd is a graduate of the Flemming Fellows program sponsored by the Center for Policy Alternatives and is a member of the first class of the Georgia Legislative Leadership Institute.

In 1980, Virgil earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College in Davidson, NC. He has been married for 22 years to Carolyn Fludd. They are the proud parents of two children, Christine and Brendan.
