Albany-Representative Winfred Dukes started the 2005 session with a good many years of legislative service, having first been elected to the House of Representatives in 1997. He is currently continuing to serve the people of House District 150, which includes Baker and parts of Dougherty Counties. During his busy lawmaking schedule at the Atlanta Capitol, he is an active member of the Economic Development & Tourism, Industrial Relations and State Planning & Community Affairs House Committees.

Outside of the Gold Dome, Representative Dukes is employed as both a contractor and realtor.
