HD 45 (R-Marietta)

Born on November 30, 1977 in Atlanta Georgia, Representative Matt Dollar graduated from Pope High School in Cobb County. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia, graduating Cum laude.

Dollar was first elected as a member of the Georgia General Assembly in 2002. The Representative is the spokesman for House District 45, which covers parts of Cobb County. Rep. Dollar was recently appointed to the World Congress Building Authority this session. He presently is serving on the Appropriations, Economic Development & Tourism, Insurance and Motor Vehicles Committees. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Cobb County Delegation. Outside of his legislative duties, Dollar works as a business consultant.
