Mack Crawford is a Vice-Chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Georgia House of Representatives, and presides over the Public Safety Subcommittee for Appropriations. He has been a member of the Appropriations Committee since 1999. Rep. Crawford represents the 127th District, and is also a Member of the Agriculture, Civil Judiciary, and Public Safety Committees. Previously, Rep. Crawford has served in the House for 12 years, first being elected in 1993. With a background in agriculture, Rep. Crawford brings a rural voice to the table in the House. Rep. Crawford holds a law degree from Woodrow Wilson University. Graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agriculture, Rep. Crawford is a former Chairman of the Georgia Farm Bureau Young Farmer Committee, a GFB Board Member, Vice-Chairman of the American Young Farmer Farm Bureau, former Board member of the Georgia Crop Improvement Association, and was a former owner of an agribusiness dealing in fertilizer, feed, and seed. He also served on the Southern Legislative Agriculture Committee. Rep.
