Representative Gail Buckner is currently serving her 8th term in the Georgia State House of Representatives. She is providing her legislative services to the constituents of House District 76, which covers parts of Clayton County. Presently, she is contributing her many years of experience to the membership of several House committees: Economic Development & Tourism, Governmental Affairs and Higher Education.
Representative Buckner is a past Tri-Chair of the Women’s Legislative Caucus at the Georgia General Assembly and has twice been named Legislator of the Year by the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition. She has also served as the President of the National Order of Women Legislators.
