Summary
This presentation will offer an overview of nanotechnology as a research area and its practical applications in everyday life. Dr. Jud Ready, a Senior Research Engineer at GTRI, will highlight products made of nano-materials that are available on store shelves throughout Georgia. He will also discuss future nanotechnology research needs and emerging trends. Finally, he will update the committee on current nanotechnology-based research at Georgia Tech and other national efforts. In addition to his research role in GTRI, Dr. Ready is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech.
