RESOLUTION
Commending
Mr. John Davis for outstanding contributions to education in Georgia; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. John Davis of Kendrick High School is a highly praised educator in the
Muscogee County School System, where he tirelessly directs his time and talent
toward guiding students to a brighter future; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people, and Mr. Davis exemplifies the selfless dedication that is characteristic
of our finest teachers; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Davis's commitment to excellence in education has earned the respect of
students, parents, and colleagues, and for his laudable work he has been honored
as the Kendrick High School Teacher of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare of
Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor
the extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this exceptional
teacher.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Mr. John Davis for his outstanding work, congratulate him on being selected as
the Kendrick High School Teacher of the Year, and express their gratitude for
his invaluable contributions to education in Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. John Davis.
