RESOLUTION
Commending
Ms. Heather McCrone for outstanding contributions to education in Georgia; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Heather McCrone of Double Churches Elementary School is a highly praised
educator in the Muscogee County School System, where she tirelessly directs her
time and talent toward guiding students to a brighter future; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people, and Ms. McCrone exemplifies the selfless dedication that is
characteristic of our finest teachers; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. McCrone's commitment to excellence in education has earned the respect of
students, parents, and colleagues, and for her laudable work she has been
honored as the Double Churches Elementary School Teacher of the Year;
and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare of
Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor
the extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this exceptional
teacher.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Ms. Heather McCrone for her outstanding work, congratulate her on being selected
as the Double Churches Elementary School Teacher of the Year, and express their
gratitude for her invaluable contributions to education in Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Heather McCrone.
