RESOLUTION
Commending
Coach Melvin T. Kinslow; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Coach Melvin T. Kinslow was born on February 9, 1935, and this year he enjoys
the rare distinction of celebrating his seventieth birthday; and
WHEREAS,
this distinguished senior gentleman has given inspiration to many through his
high ideals, morals, and deep concern for his fellow man; and
WHEREAS,
he possesses the vast wisdom which only comes through experience and the
strength of character which is achieved through overcoming the many challenges
of life; and
WHEREAS,
he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
by the example he has made of his life, he makes this world a better place in
which to live, and it is only fitting and proper that he be appropriately
recognized during this very special and memorable time of his life.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body heartily commends Coach
Melvin T. Kinslow for his efficient, effective, unselfish, dedicated, and loving
service to the members of his family and the citizens of his community and
state; congratulates him on the remarkable occasion of his seventieth birthday;
and extends to him its most sincere best wishes for continued health and
happiness.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Melvin T.
Kinslow.
