RESOLUTION
Commending
the public safety and traffic control volunteers of Chickamauga Elementary
School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
tomorrow's promise lies in the lives of our children, and nothing is more
important than protecting our state's youth from harm; and
WHEREAS,
the public safety and traffic control volunteers of Chickamauga Elementary
School take great pride in keeping the children of their community safe and
exhibit great enthusiasm for this important responsibility; and
WHEREAS,
their diligence has earned them the respect and trust of the parents, teachers,
and administrators of Chickamauga Elementary School as well as the admiration
and love of its students; and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding group of highly dedicated volunteers who take time out of their
busy schedules to watch over these precious children includes Kenny Rogers,
Kathy Walker, Marla Prince, and Earlene Mathews; and
WHEREAS,
the Chickamauga community and the State of Georgia are very grateful for the
selfless service of these fine citizens.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
heartily commending the public safety and traffic control volunteers of
Chickamauga Elementary School for their diligence in protecting the students of
this fine school.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to the public safety and
traffic control volunteers of Chickamauga Elementary School.
