RESOLUTION
Honoring
Helen Passantino; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Helen Passantino has been selected as Woman of the Year for the local
diocese of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS,
she is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Magdalene where she has taught Pre-K
classes, earning the admiration of her colleagues while providing an excellent
start to her young students' education; and
WHEREAS,
always the first to lend a helping hand collecting or distributing donations for
ACE, Welcome House, and any other organization that has a need, Ms. Passantino
is widely known for her selfless dedication to her fellow citizens and is a
highly esteemed member of her community; and
WHEREAS,
she also devotes her time and talent as a volunteer at the senior center in
Newnan and serves as chairwoman of Prevent Child Abuse Coweta; and
WHEREAS,
by the example she makes of her life, she makes this world a better place in
which to live, and it is abundantly fitting that her many contributions be
appropriately recognized on this highly significant occasion.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
honoring Helen Passantino, Woman of the Year for the local diocese of St. Mary
Magdalene Catholic Church, and extend their sincere best wishes for her
continued health and happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Helen Passantino.
