RESOLUTION
Commending
Jeremiah Castille; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Jeremiah Castille is an outstanding individual who has excelled as an athlete in
the community and as a servant of the Lord; and
WHEREAS,
he was a football star at Central High School, the University of Alabama, and
the National Football League as a member of the Denver Broncos; and
WHEREAS,
he is now serving the spiritual needs of athletes in his role as chaplain for
the Alabama Crimson Tide football team; and
WHEREAS,
this stellar man epitomizes the courage, determination, leadership, and
character necessary to attain excellence in athletic prowess and performance and
to achieve success as an individual and citizen; and
WHEREAS,
he has been inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame and it is
abundantly fitting and proper that the superlative skills and outstanding deeds
of this accomplished athlete be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Jeremiah Castille for his unprecedented athletic performance; congratulate him
upon being inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame; and
extend to him their sincerest best wishes for success in the
future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jeremiah Castille.
