RESOLUTION
Commending
Debbie Ball; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Debbie Ball is an outstanding individual who has excelled as an athlete and
coach in her community; and
WHEREAS,
during her 27 year career at Shaw High School, her teams have compiled an
astonishing record of 528 wins and only 196 loses; and
WHEREAS,
she distinguished herself as a coach of basketball, cheerleading, swimming,
tennis, track, and softball; and
WHEREAS,
this stellar woman epitomizes the courage, determination, leadership, and
character necessary to attain excellence in athletic prowess and performance and
to achieve success as an individual and citizen; and
WHEREAS,
she has been inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame and it
is abundantly fitting and proper that the superlative coaching skills and
outstanding deeds of this accomplished athlete be appropriately
recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Debbie Ball for her unprecedented coaching performance; congratulate her upon
being inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame; and extend to
her their sincerest best wishes for success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Debbie Ball.
