RESOLUTION
Honoring
the life work of Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb is a trained nurse committed to serving others and
protecting human life; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb has spent over 35 years sacrificially working in
ministry, tirelessly advocating for the protection of unborn life and promoting
the sanctity of human life; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb has always opened her home to young women facing
difficult choices and in need of help; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb has spent countless hours counseling young men and women
and traveling around the world to share her "Time for Life" presentation
promoting the sanctity of life and encouraging healthy life choices;
and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb has served as the chairperson of the Human Development
Resource Council, which, for 20 years, has provided medically and scientifically
accurate education on matters of human life and sexuality; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb´s leadership has positioned the Human Development
Resource Council to fulfill its mission to be an international, nonprofit,
educational organization specializing in promoting accurate information on fetal
development, sexually transmitted diseases, and abortion and encouraging
premarital abstinence as the healthy choice; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb has been faithfully married for 42 years and is the proud
mother of eight children and many grandchildren.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
honoring the work of Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb in thinking globally and acting
locally to serve young men and women in need by producing accurate information
about critical life issues and promoting the sanctity of human
life.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. June LeBlanc Webb.
