RESOLUTION
Commending
the North Hall High School Trojans football team; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the North Hall High School boys varsity football team completed its 2004 regular
season with a perfect 10-0 record and the Region 7-AAA championship;
and
WHEREAS,
the 2004 North Hall Trojans won their first state playoff game in school
history, followed by a second state playoff win to reach the final-eight round;
and
WHEREAS,
the 2004 North Hall Trojans set numerous school records in rushing, passing, and
scoring while performing throughout the year with an outstanding combination of
teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS,
four seniors will go on to play college football: Bradley Bernard to the United
States Air Force Academy, T. J. Pitts to the University of Memphis, Jordan
Stephens to the United States Naval Academy, and Bo Whitmire to West Georgia
College; and
WHEREAS,
this exemplary group of young players, managers, trainers, and coaches is both a
source of pride for Hall County residents and an inspiration for student
athletes throughout Georgia.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
commending the 2004 North Hall High School Trojans football team along with its
coaches, managers, and staff for achieving great success in Georgia High School
athletics as 2004 Region 7-AAA Champions.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the North Hall High School
football team.
