RESOLUTION
Congratulating
CrossRoadsNews; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
CrossRoadsNews will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its founding;
and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding organization has grown from its humble beginnings in
May, 1995, when its first publication had a run of 3,000 issues, was just
eight pages long, and was printed on a photocopier, into one of the most
respected suppliers of local and community news in Georgia, publishing 25,000
copies and reaching more than 75,000 readers every week; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable small business has established a glowing reputation of renown
throughout Georgia for its ability to accommodate changes in the news industry
and continues to meet the diversified needs of its customers with friendly and
professional service; and
WHEREAS,
this superlative association has dedicated itself to providing continuing
innovation in the news industry and remains dedicated to the principles of
skill, integrity, and responsibility; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
amazing company be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate CrossRoadsNews on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, commend it
for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and
extend to it their best wishes for continued corporate growth, development, and
success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to CrossRoadsNews.
