RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and congratulating Patricia Kesler of Lavonia on her election to serve as
Governor of the Georgia District of Pilot International for the 2006-2007 term;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Pilot Club was founded in Macon, Georgia, in 1921 as an international
volunteer organization for executive, business, and professional people with a
strong emphasis on leadership and community service focusing on brain related
disorders; and
WHEREAS,
Patricia Kesler will be responsible for leadership of 67 clubs in the Georgia
district, as well as 53 Anchor Clubs, which provide leadership and service
opportunities to high school students; and
WHEREAS,
Patricia Kesler will be installed in her new position at the Atlanta Marriott
Gwinnett Place in Duluth, Georgia, on April 8, 2006; and
WHEREAS,
sincerest congratulations should be extended for this high honor to Patricia
Kesler.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body recognizes and
congratulates Patricia Kesler for her accomplishment and opportunity to serve as
Governor of the Georgia District of Pilot International and wishes her continued
success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to Patricia Kesler.
