ACT
To
amend Chapter 1 of Title 10 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to selling and trade practices, so as to repeal provisions which provide that
local government permits are required for the operation of movie theaters and
athletic events to be held on Sundays; to provide for related matters; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Chapter
1 of Title 10 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to selling and
trade practices, is amended by repealing in its entirety Article 19, relating to
local government permits for certain Sunday events and the manner of permitting
of operation of movie theaters and athletic events to be held on Sundays, and by
designating said article as reserved.
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
