ACT
To
amend Article 1 of Chapter 20 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to the state merit system of personnel administration in
general, so as to repeal provisions relating to optional coverage of legislative
branch employees under the classified service of the state merit system; to
provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Article
1 of Chapter 20 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to the state merit system of personnel administration in general, is amended by
striking Code Section 45-20-7, relating to optional coverage of legislative
branch employees under the classified service of the state merit system, and
inserting in its place the following:
"45-20-7.
Reserved."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
