A
RESOLUTION
Honoring
the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South
America and Its Jurisdictions, Inc., Prince Hall Affiliated, and the Daughters
of Isis; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South
America and Its Jurisdictions, Inc., Prince Hall Affiliated, and its women's
auxiliary the Daughters of Isis, is a benevolent charitable and fraternal
organization whose members are dedicated to the principle of fostering civic,
economic, and educational development programs throughout the world;
and
WHEREAS,
the Nobles of Stolkin Temple No. 22 and the Daughters of Stolkin Court No. 173
are the host Temple and Court for the 54th Prince Hall Shriners Georgia State
Desert Conference; and
WHEREAS,
these Nobles and Daughters have distinguished themselves with particularity
through their boundless generosity in donating over $250,000.00 to the Sickle
Cell Foundation to aid in the fight against sickle cell anemia; and
WHEREAS,
in the spirit of helpfulness and brotherly love and guided by strict moral
principles, these Nobles and Daughters seek to encourage goodwill toward all
mankind, and their rituals are designed to dramatize a philosophy of life based
on morality; and
WHEREAS,
they are dedicated to practicing in their daily lives the principles of
brotherly love, charity, and truth and the benefits of their dedication inure to
the entire State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that their outstanding services be
appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body honor and commend the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic
Shrine of North and South America and Its Jurisdictions, Inc., Prince Hall
Affiliated, and its women's auxiliary the Daughters of Isis for their
magnificent contributions to the State of Georgia and outstanding service and
extend their special appreciation to the Nobles of Stolkin Temple No. 22 and the
Daughters of Stolkin Court No. 173 for hosting the 54th Prince Hall Shriners
Georgia State Desert Conference.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the Honorable
Kirby L. Turner, P.P., Program Chairman.
