RESOLUTION
Recognizing
the Warner Robins High School Football Team, winners of the 2004 State Class
AAAA Championship, and inviting the team to the House of Representatives; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Warner Robins High School Demons Football Team completed the 2004 season
with an amazing 14-0-1 record and won the State Class AAAA Championship;
and
WHEREAS,
this is the fourth state championship for the Demons and the first since 1988;
and
WHEREAS,
the Demons also won the Region 2 AAAA championship and the city championship
under the leadership of Head Coach Bryan Way; and
WHEREAS,
the outstanding accomplishments of the team clearly demonstrate the athletic
abilities, teamwork, and spirit of these athletes and the leadership offered by
Head Coach Bryan Way and the members of the coaching staff; and
WHEREAS,
the citizens of Warner Robins and the State of Georgia take great pride in the
accomplishments of these fine young champions.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize and commend the Warner Robins High School Demons Football
Team on their 2004 State Class AAAA Football Championship.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the team is invited to the House of Representatives for
purposes of being recognized by the House and receiving an appropriate copy of
this resolution at a date and time to be fixed by the Speaker of the
House.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Warner Robins High School.
