RESOLUTION
Commending
Reverend Dr. Carol E. Dixon; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Reverend Dr. Carol E. Dixon was first called to the ministry in May, 1984, with
a charge to "teach, train, educate, and equip"; and
WHEREAS,
whether the task is preparing a sermon, visiting the sick, counseling the
troubled, baptizing a new believer, or any of the other countless
responsibilities of a minister of the Gospel, Reverend Dixon has shown the
energy, devotion, and commitment truly reflective of divine guidance;
and
WHEREAS,
the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Reverend Dixon is a source of
strength, inspiration, and direction for persons in all walks of life and from
all economic strata especially in her duties as founder and chief executive
officer of KAINOS International, a training ground for leadership and Christian
character building; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to recognize the outstanding
accomplishments of the dynamic Christian ministry of this devout and pious
teacher, evangelist, and missionary.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Reverend Dr. Carol E. Dixon for her unparalleled record of
community service and her innumerable good works rendered on behalf of persons
in need.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Reverend Dr.
Carol E. Dixon.
