RESOLUTION
Commending
Pastor Nathaniel N. Boles for over 40 years of dedicated service; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Pastor Nathaniel N. Boles was born in Richmond Hill, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
he attended George Washington High School in Richmond Hill, Georgia; Alfred Ely
Beach High School; and Savannah State College; and
WHEREAS,
he continued his education at San Jose State College in San Jose, California;
and
WHEREAS,
Pastor Boles was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force as a
Staff Airman First Class; and
WHEREAS,
at the age of 27, he answered the call to spread the Gospel throughout the world
and began evangelizing throughout southeast Georgia and other areas;
and
WHEREAS,
Pastor Boles accepted the call to serve as the under shepherd of Shiloh
Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia, and has served there for the
past 45 years; and
WHEREAS,
he is the husband of Mrs. Phoebe Boles and the loving father of nine children
(including two that have passed on), and he has seven grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Pastor Nathaniel N. Boles for over 40 years of faithful and
dedicated service to the spiritual and temporal lives of his congregation and
express their wish that his life may stand as an inspiration for all that follow
in his footsteps.
