RESOLUTION
Commending
Pastor Nathaniel Small, Sr.; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Pastor Nathaniel Small, Sr. was first called to preach the Gospel in 1962 and
currently serves as Pastor of the New Salem Community Fellowship Church;
and
WHEREAS,
whether the task is preparing a sermon, visiting the sick, counseling the
troubled, or ministering wherever or whenever needed, Pastor Small has shown the
energy, devotion, and commitment truly reflective of divine guidance;
and
WHEREAS,
the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Pastor Small is a source of
strength, inspiration, and direction for persons in all walks of life and from
all economic strata; and
WHEREAS,
he has been selected by Our Brother’s Keeper of Savannah and Chatham
County as a 2004 Honoree and Award Winner acknowledging him as a faithful toiler
in the vineyard of Christ for over four decades and it is abundantly fitting and
proper to recognize the outstanding accomplishment of the dynamic ministry of
this devout and pious individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Pastor Nathaniel Small, Sr., for his unparalleled record of
community service and his innumerable good works rendered on behalf of persons
in need; congratulate him upon being named 2004 Honoree and Award Winner by Our
Brother’s Keeper; and extend the most sincere best wishes for health and
happiness as he continues to uplift souls with comfort, prayer, and
praise.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Pastor
Nathaniel Small, Sr.
