RESOLUTION
Commending
Robyn Underwood and her staff; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Robyn Underwood, Director of the Legislative Fiscal Office, has been long known
to be a dedicated and effective employee of the General Assembly;
and
WHEREAS,
she has performed an outstanding job in coordinating the relocation of 180
members of the House of Representatives and many staff members; and
WHEREAS,
other employees of the Legislative Fiscal Office and staff worked efficiently
under Robyn’s direction to move equipment, furniture, and numerous other
items necessary for legislative business; and
WHEREAS,
this massive logistical task was performed in short order due to the tireless
efforts of Robyn Underwood, whose long hours, patience, and careful attention to
detail were essential to the success of the relocation plans; and
WHEREAS,
Robyn reportedly worked 15 consecutive days on relocation efforts without taking
a day away from the Capitol; and
WHEREAS,
Robyn and her staff deserve recognition and thanks from the members of the House
of Representatives for their excellent work.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Robyn Underwood and her staff for their efficient performance
of this demanding task.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Robyn
Underwood.
