RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Jwaltney Daniels, Winner of the Future Farmers of America
National Proficiency Award for Landscape Design and Management; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
at the 77th National FAA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, Mr. Daniels brought
great honor and credit to his school and the State of Georgia, receiving the FFA
National Proficiency Award for Landscape Design and Management; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Daniels began his Supervised Agricultural Experience Project in the ninth
grade when he started his own lawn care service; and
WHEREAS,
with hard work, determination, and an excellent reputation, his business quickly
grew into a highly successful enterprise and expanded to offer landscape design
services to clients; and
WHEREAS,
in the summer of his eleventh grade year, he was given the opportunity to attend
the Governor's Honors Program in Executive Management to hone his business
skills; and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Daniels was named the South Region
Star in Agribusiness, and won a trip to Costa Rica with the FFA International
Seminar program; and
WHEREAS,
his achievements truly demonstrate the FFA motto, "Learning to Do, Doing to
Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve," and set a fine example for all those
students who will participate in this outstanding FFA chapter in the years to
come.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in recognizing and commending Jwaltney Daniels, Winner of the FFA
National Proficiency Award for Landscape Design and Management and anticipate a
promising future of this outstanding young
man.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Jwaltney Daniels.
