RESOLUTION
Commending
Anthony Wilson upon being named Legislative Intern of the Year by the Georgia
Legislative Black Caucus; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Anthony Wilson has been selected as Legislative Intern of the Year in
recognition of his hard work, dedication, and eagerness throughout the session;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Wilson has served as legislative intern for Representative Lester Jackson
since 2006; and
WHEREAS,
his experience and the persistent commitment he has displayed have earned him
this prestigious title; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Wilson enjoys the legislative process and has a specific interest in issues
affecting urban youths and oppressed communities and citizens of Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
this exceptional young man is currently a student at Clark-Atlanta University,
where he is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in journalism; and
WHEREAS,
it is a high honor to be chosen as Legislative Intern of the Year, a recognition
reserved for the
crΠme
de la
crΠme,
and Mr. Wilson is an excellent representative of his peers.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join to commend Anthony Wilson upon being named Legislative Intern of
the Year, to thank him for his service, and to extend their sincere best wishes
for success in all of his future endeavors.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Anthony
Wilson.
