RESOLUTION
Commending
Ms. Pauline M. Stadnik on being selected as the Dougherty County STAR teacher;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Pauline (Polly) M. Stadnik, a foreign language teacher at Westover High
School, is widely recognized in her community and beyond as the personification
of excellence in education; and
WHEREAS,
she faithfully serves her school with honor and distinction, dedicated to
helping each and every one of her pupils reach their full potential;
and
WHEREAS,
Ms.
Stadniḱs
outstanding performance in the classroom is rooted in her belief that the role
of a teacher is to act as an instrument of inspiration and enthusiasm to
students; and
WHEREAS,
Ms.
Stadniḱs
unwavering commitment to academic achievement has earned her the respect and
admiration of students, colleagues, and parents, and she has been selected by
her
schooĺs
STAR student to be Dougherty
Countýs
STAR teacher; and
WHEREAS,
considering the fact that nothing is more essential to
Georgiás
future than the education of our children, it is abundantly fitting and proper
that this body appropriately recognize the outstanding contributions of this
extraordinary instructor.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in commending Ms. Pauline M. Stadnik on being selected as
Dougherty
Countýs
STAR teacher and thank her for her many invaluable contributions to education in
Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Pauline
M. Stadnik.
