BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
repeal an Act entitled "Jasper County Economic Development Authority Act"
approved April 4, 1991 (Ga.L. 1991, p. 4524); to provide an effective date; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Specific Repealer.
Specific Repealer.
The
Act entitled "Jasper County Economic Development Authority Act" and creating the
Jasper County Economic Development Authority, approved April 4, 1991 (Ga. L.
1991, p. 4524), is repealed in its entirety and all amendatory Acts thereto are
likewise repealed in their entirety.
SECTION
2.
Legislative Purpose.
Legislative Purpose.
The
purpose of this repeal is to provide for the economic development of Jasper
County and the subdivisions thereof under the "Development Authorities Law" of
Code Section 36-62-1 of the O.C.G.A.
SECTION
3.
This
Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its
becoming law without such approval.
SECTION
4.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
