AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act providing for a new charter for the Town of Martin, approved March
18, 1980 (Ga. L. 1980, p. 3215), as amended, so as to repeal term limitations
for the mayor and the members of the city council; to repeal conflicting laws;
and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act providing for a new charter for the Town of Martin, approved March 18, 1980
(Ga. L. 1980, p. 3215), as amended, is amended by repealing in its entirety
Section 2.11A, relating to term limitations for the mayor and members of the
city council.
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
