A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend an Act incorporating the City of Toccoa, approved December 20, 1897 (Ga. L. 1897, p. 341), as amended, so as to change and extend the corporate limits of said city; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act incorporating the City of Toccoa, approved December 20, 1897 (Ga. L. 1897, p. 341), as amended, is amended by adding a new section immediately following Section 3B, to be designated Section 3C, to read as follows:

"SECTION 3C.
(a) In addition to the present territory included within the corporate limits of said town, the corporate limits shall be extended to include the following described highway and right of way:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being south of the City of Toccoa, Georgia in Stephens County, Georgia and consisting of the highway and right of way of Georgia Highway 17 and extending along the highway and right of way of Georgia Highway 17 Alternate from the present corporate limits of the City of Toccoa located at the intersection of Georgia Highway 17 Alternate and White Pine Road in a southerly direction along Georgia Highway 17 Alternate to the intersection of Georgia Highway 17 Alternate and Georgia Highway 17 (Toccoa By-Pass).
(b) All references to highway and public rights of way in subsection (a) of this section specifically include the entire width of Georgia Highway 17 Alternate, and the entire right of way of Georgia Highway 17 Alternate."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
