BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 47-2-1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
definitions relative to the
Employeeś
Retirement System of Georgia, so as to define a certain term; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 47-2-1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
definitions relative to the
Employeeś
Retirement System of Georgia, is amended by striking in its entirety paragraph
(19) and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
"(19)
'Group term life insurance' means the survivors benefits established under Code
Section
47-2-128."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
