BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act amending an Act providing for a base year assessed value homestead
exemption from City of Tybee Island ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes,
approved May 17, 2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 4321), so as to correct certain
typographical errors; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act amending an Act providing for a base year assessed value homestead exemption
from City of Tybee Island ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes, approved May
17, 2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 4321), is amended by striking the phrase "approved
April 12, 1999 (Ga. L. 1999, p. 4194)" and inserting in its place "approved
April 20, 2000 (Ga. L. 2000, p. 4511)" wherever such phrase appears in said
Act.
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
