BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to county taxation, so as to repeal certain provisions
relating to payment of taxes where property lies in more than one county; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Article
4 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to county taxation, is amended by repealing and reserving Code Section 48-5-237,
relating to payment of taxes where property lies in more than one
county.
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
